Tottenham make world-record £113m profit despite costs of new stadium

Yearly financial results for 2017-18 reveal Spurs’ income climbed from £310m to £380m thanks to player sales, bigger crowds at Wembley Stadium and reaching the Champions League knockout stages.
The figures were released as the club opened a new £1bn stadium – though much of that cost has been met with loans.
Premier League matchday revenue more than doubled from £19m to £42.6m thanks to playing in front of larger crowds at Wembley while the new stadium was under construction.
Tottenham beat Crystal Palace 2-0 in their first game at the new ground.

In the years that followed, Brock would rise again to the top and would regularly feud with the likes of Roman Reigns, Braun Strowman, Bill Goldberg, and others.
DANIEL BRYAN (C) VS. KOFI KINGSTON
WWE Championship
Prior to Elimination Chamber, competitor Mustafa Ali got injured and needed to be replaced. That spot went to New Day, who chose Kofi. In a gauntlet match featuring everyone involved in the Chamber match, Kofi lasted over an hour and made a name for himself. He didn’t win the gauntlet match nor the Chamber, but he did get a lot of people behind him. At first, he was supposed to face Bryan at Fastlane, but Vince McMahon chose to give the spot to Kevin Owens instead. Vince put Kofi in another gauntlet match to earn a shot at Bryan, but then screwed him over by adding Bryan as a surprise final entrant.

When Big E and Xavier Woods were forced into a tag gauntlet to earn Kofi his WrestleMania title shot, The Usos weren’t exactly pleased. Having respect for their longtime rivals, they offered a forfeit and walked off when it was their turn to fight. WrestleMania host Alexa Bliss appeared a week later after an eight-man tag match to announce that there would be repercussions. The two would have to defend their titles against everyone in that eight-man tag.

Lashley won it back in a singles match, albeit with Rush’s help distracting Balor. He offered another title match as long as Balor could win a handicap match against Lashley and Jinder Mahal. Much like the previous match, Balor pulled it off by pinning the weaker opponent. Post-match, Lashley beat down Jinder and his cronies.

No Holds Barred, if Triple H loses he must retire
For the 1,000th edition of SmackDown, all four members of Evolution appeared for a reunion. Batista made a reference to how Triple H never beat him, which he played off as being all in fun. Months later, Raw was holding a celebration for Ric Flair’s 70th birthday. When Flair was supposed to appear, they instead showed him getting beat up by Batista backstage. This was apparently Batista’s way of getting Triple H’s attention.
SHANE MCMAHON VS. THE MIZ
Falls Count Anywhere
At Crown Jewel, Miz took part in a tournament to crown the Best in the World. During the finals, he endured a leg injury and had to bow out against his will. Shane McMahon decided to replace him, despite it being the finals and Shane being fresh, and was able to defeat Dolph Ziggler. Shane was reluctant and annoyed, but accepted the offer once Miz opened up about how he was trying to win the love and respect of his father.
KURT ANGLE VS. BARON CORBIN
Since returning as Raw GM a few years ago, Kurt Angle has had a handful of matches in WWE. Recently, he’s accepted that his time is coming to an end, so he’s decided that WrestleMania will be his farewell match. As he spends the weeks taking on those who look up to him like Apollo Crews and Chad Gable or former rivals like Samoa Joe and AJ Styles, he’s chosen Baron Corbin as his final opponent. As his former assistant, Corbin undermined Angle repeatedly and took over his role for a while. Now Angle wants to humble him before he rides off into the sunset.
ROMAN REIGNS VS. DREW MCINTYRE
After returning from leukemia, Roman’s wishes were that The Shield could come together one last time to take on the team of Baron Corbin, Drew McIntyre, and Bobby Lashley. They won the battle and on the next night, Roman was prepared to make his singles return against Corbin. Instead, he was jumped by McIntyre, who put Roman on the shelf for a couple weeks. McIntyre laid down the challenge and spent the weeks since the attack defeating the likes of Ambrose and Rollins. Finally, Roman returned to accept the challenge and beat McIntyre down, only to get caught with a low-blow and a Claymore to the face.
AJ STYLES VS. RANDY ORTON

The two got to air out their grievances in the ring and went back and forth in looking down at each other’s histories and accomplishments. Finally, AJ made the challenge for WrestleMania and while Orton slinked away from ringside, he ultimately accepted.
THE ANDRE THE GIANT MEMORIAL BATTLE ROYAL
